Web Design Pricing Guidelines,

Packages, and Options

 

We have set out here the basic web design pricing and packages, and what they include. Take notice however, that since we are a small business, we are open to questions and customization to almost all of these plans, as the title states, these are pricing guidelines. You will also see that, because we are a small business, our prices reflect that, and our communication will have a more personal touch.

Everyone's needs are unique, and we understand that. We will do our best to satisfy your specific needs when we do work for you. Feel free to contact us often with any questions you have about our services, and/or any special requests you might have for services not listed here.

We can do keyword research for you, buy your domain name for you, help you set up your hosting, help you advertise your new website, and build backlinks to your website that will help promote it in the search results in Google, etc. And of course, we can help you get started with using your new website, show you all the ropes, that kind of thing. We will share tips and tricks with you that will help you operate your new website effectively.

We can also set up a Facebook Fan page for your business/website. We also suggest that you join as many social sites as possible. We can register your business on social sites for you as well, sites such as, Linkedin, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, and more. There are several other sites that are hugely beneficial in helping promote your business/products/website, and two of these are Squidoo & Hubpages.

We can set up Squidoo 'lenses' for you, and hubs on Hubpages. These are basically like mini, one page websites, that are free to use, and you can make money with them by placing ads on them, and even have Amazon products to sell on them. But the biggest benefit, really, is that these sites are considered authority sites by Google, etc. and so they usually rank quickly and well, with minimal promotion. And the whole point of this is, you would have these sites geared to guide individuals to your website.

These extras we mentioned above, are not included in the basic website package, since not everyone will need them. These separate services will be priced per job as we see fit. But of course we would always quote you a price before we did a job for you, so you would have complete control to agree with the price before we do the work for you. We are open to other ideas and suggestions on what you might want done. Our specialty, really, is custom work that you might not be able to find offered elsewhere very easily.

 

 

The Basic Website Package Includes:

*Help with purchasing Domain Name, if needed.  (We recommend using Go Daddy to buy your domain name)

*Help with setting up your Hosting, either with us, or on your own.

*Help with changing Nameservers to your Hosting Provider. (We recommend Host Gator Hosting)

*Installing WordPress on your Domain.

*Installing the theme you want, and customizing it. (backgrounds, headers, pictures etc.)

*10 – 20 basic plugins installed, activated, and set up for you.

*Helping you get your first pages/posts published.

You may, or may not know the importance of backlinks, or what backlinks even are. Backlinks, put simply, are links on another website or blog, that point to your website. This is like a vote for your website. And the site with the most votes is the most popular! But there are also differences in the quality of votes, or backlinks. Google judges websites by a lot of different things, and one of the ways they rate sites, is by giving them a Page Rank. The best page rank any site can get is a page rank 10. I think Youtube and Facebook are a PR9. Normally, anything from a PR1 to a PR5 is pretty good for an average website.

To help reach a good page rank, backlinks must be built. And why do you need a good page rank? Because the better your PR, the higher your website will show up in search results when people search for your product type, or your kind of service in Google, etc. If you think about, how often do you go to the second or third page of results when you search for something online? If you are like the average, you will most likely pick one of the first few sites that show on the first page. And in order for that site to show up on the first page, they had to first have good SEO (search engine optimization), of which backlinks are one part of good SEO.

Our goal is to educate you as well as build a website for you. When I first started my journey in the world of websites and internet business, I knew nothing! It took me hours to figure out basic stuff, and I knew nothing about HTML. I did not know anything about keywords, or domain names, and I did not know what a backlink was either! I did not enjoy having to learn everything on my own from scratch. So we would like to explain how and why we do things for you, in order to enable you to do some of these for yourself in the future. We also would consider continuing to do some work on your website if you feel unable to take it over completely yourself.
